Adam, AB2IZ , keeping an eye out for anyone needling assistance.Some folks don't bring enough water for the long walk, so the ARES/RACES members are vigilant. Since NYC is probably the birthplace of car swallowing potholes, twisted ankles and scrapes for a small number of walkers is commonplace. Except for an occasional lost child, the event usually goes with a hitch. |
